HP Color LaserJet 3700 PCL5c Driver (use with AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon and Pentium 4 with EMT64). The following issues have been fixed with this release: # When Auto and Manual Duplexing are both enabled, the "HELP" content is dentical. # Previous drivers output LFCR (line feed carriage return) instead of CRLF (carriage return line feed) after PJL commands. # PCL5c drivers print extra lines. # Extra lank pages are printed at the end of odd number page jobs. # Output gets stapled when staple option is not selected (relevant only for HP Color # LaserJet products with ttached paper handling units). # SAP templates do not print correctly. # Various memory leak issues resolved. # Tray ID's not consistent. # PCL6 driver issues with Microsoft ord documents with embedded logo. # Booklet printing does not scale properly and/or is not positioned correctly on the page. # When printing with the PCL5 driver, the user xperiences overlapping characters. # Quick sets that use the envelope feeder do not hold their settings from one print job to another. # Grayscale does not work correctly with he PCL5 driver. # The end-user can select the Duplex and First Page Out Different option but it doesn't work. # "DCOM error" occurs when print drivers are istalled on Win23K erver. # Current drivers cause poor performance when printing from Cisco CEPS environment. # Scaling within current drivers not implemented properly. The following nhancements have been added with this release. While this driver roll was initiated primarily to provide VISTA operating support for all current HP LaserJet and HP Color aserJet printers, we have also included multiple other enhancements which are described below: # VISTA Operating System support has been added to ensure that all HP olor LaserJets are compatible with Microsoft's new operating system. # IPv6 - Internet Protocol version 6 - support has been added. # Cluster Server support for all printer rivers has been added. # Secure printing enhancements have been included to ensure pin number are hidden. # The following Quicksets will be added to all legacy printers: eneral Everyday Printing, Factory Defaults, Two-sided (Duplex) printing. # Performance has been greatly improved for EMF spooling. Specific collation issues associated with MF spooling have been resolved. # Printing preference options have been expanded. # Bi-directional communication over PNP (point and print) environments would be upported in the following scenarios: 32 Bit XP/Windows 2003/Vista server and AMD64 client, 32 Bit XP/Windows 2003/Vista Server and 32 Bit client. # Changed the Private rint (store until printed) feature to allow a print job to be stored with or without a PIN. .
